205 teams of Form 3 to Form 5 students cracked the 25 multiple choice questions they were presented with in Round 1 followed by a challenging group quiz in Round 2, both while fighting for time. The competition questions were developed by the Sunway A-Level math teachers headed by Dr Wong Yoke Chen, Director of the A-Level programme at Sunway, who is very passionate about Mathematics. The challenge was in line with the government’s call to improve the standard and quality of Mathematics in schools. Sunway aspires to increase the level of math aptitude among students in the Malaysian secondary schools by incorporating a creative and versatile medium of learning that also encompasses a fun element.
